Massage Therapy benefits all body systems through increasing circulation, decreasing pain, improving range of motion, and encouraging waste elimination.  I offer many effective modalities, including:

Swedish Massage: Circulatory massage benefiting all body systems and inviting deep relaxation.

Neuromuscular Therapy: An advanced system of soft tissue manipulation addressing the symptoms of Myofascial Pain Syndrome. Myofascial Pain Syndrome is a series of signs and symptoms caused by active trigger points  in a muscle or group of muscles. These signs and symptoms include pain, tenderness, autonomic phenomena and associated dysfunction. This modality is particularly effective for chronic pain caused by repetitive motion.

Myofascial Release: Fascia, or connective tissue, runs all throughout the body, including throughout the muscles themselves. Through the use of pressure, energy, and heat, we can affect the state of fascia, inviting lasting change within the body.

Pregnancy Massage: Massage can benefit anyone, but offers particular benefit to people experiencing the physical and psychological changes associated with pregnancy. Massage for pregnancy benefits the endocrine, nervous and circulatory systems which are often adversely affected by pregnancy.

Postpartum Massage: Postpartum can help alleviate some of the postural changes that come along with a new creature to care for 24/7! Clients can utilize this time to get away from baby and sleep, or bring baby with them for some cuddle time on the table.
